![]() About UsThe time between the home of your youth and the home you'll make for yourself someday is a time of adventure, discovery and excitement; but also loneliness, longing and uncertainty. From college to career to relationships, we at Boundless want to cast a vibrant vision for the single years, helping you navigate this season while preparing for the challenges and responsibilities of the one to come. That requires living intentionally with purpose by bringing your gifts, talents and Christian worldview to bear on your whole life.
Comments / Letters to the EditorWe do permit comments on our blog, so feel free to respond to any of the posts that move you. If you'd rather send us a more personal e-mail, send it to editor@boundless.org. We'll read every e-mail that is sent to us, but because we've got a small and overworked staff we're just not able to personally answer it all. Letters may be edited for clarity and conciseness if we reprint them on the website or blog. Please let us know if you do not wish your letter to be published. You may also write us at: Focus on the Family More contact information, including our counseling department, is available here.
ContributorsLisa Anderson
Lisa Anderson hosts The Boundless Show, Focus on the Family's popular podcast for young adults. She leads the Boundless team in discussions on relevant issues, interviews authors, artists and other newsmakers, facilitates Q&A, and volunteers far too much information from her personal life. She is also director of corporate media and public relations for Focus on the Family, serving as a spokesperson for the organization and connecting reporters with the latest research, news and trends affecting the family. She has appeared on numerous radio and TV programs, and has been known to speak at national conferences wearing tall boots and a skull T-shirt. She graduated from Trinity International University in Chicago and has lived and worked everywhere from Paraguay to Capitol Hill. Lisa knows a disproportionate amount of hip-hop lyrics for a white girl, and loves Jesus, people, ideas and guacamole, in that order. All of Lisa's blog posts are available on one page. Motte Brown
Motte Brown is the Family Formation manager for Focus on the Family. Which decrypted means he serves as managing editor for the Boundless website, Boundless blog, and as executive producer for the Boundless podcast. Before joining Focus, Motte served as a Vice President in a D.C. area pro-life ministry and in the legislative and projects offices for a United States Senator. Motte lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Beth and their six children. All of Motte's blog posts are available on one page. Suzanne Hadley Gosselin
Suzanne Hadley Gosselin is the editor of Clubhouse Jr. magazine and has been a Boundless contributor since 2004. Suzanne's passions include young adults and their role in the church, evangelism and godly relationships of all varieties. Suzanne is a transport from the Pacific Northwest and a graduate of Multnomah Bible College. Suzanne recently married Kevin Gosselin, the love God intentionally and extraordinarily brought into her life. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys partaking of leisurely breakfasts with her husband, acting with a comedy improv troupe, maintaining her personal blogs, walking along Northwest beaches and spending time with family. All of Suzanne's blog posts are available on one page. Ashley Harris Ramsey
Ashley is the most recent member of the Boundless team. She's helping moderate the blog and wade through Webzine archives. When she's not publishing comments, you can find her in Old Colorado City drinking word-class chai at Agia Sophia. All of Ashley's blog posts are available on one page. Thomas Jeffries
Thomas Jeffries is a journalist, editor and recreational basketball player. He was born on the east coast, grew up in the Midwest and now resides with his wife and young kids in Colorado. His work has appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and Web sites, and while his passion is storytelling, Thomas has never felt the desire to write a novel. He has been to death row, downtown Detroit and the miserably hot state of Texas — all in the name of a good story. He reserves the right to update this bio on a whim at any time. All of Thomas's blog posts are available on one page. Matt Kaufman
Matt Kaufman has been a columnist for Boundless since the site's founding in 1998, and did a stint as editor in 2002-2003. He's also a former staffer and current contributing editor for Focus on the Family Citizen magazine. Matt is a freelance writer/editor who spent some years in Colorado, but gave up the mountains for the cornfields: He now lives in his hometown of Urbana, home of the University of Illinois, whose basketball team will make a run at the Final Four in 2011. (You read it here first.) His house is a five minute drive from the one where he grew up, and he enjoys daily walks around the park where he used to play baseball. All of Matt's blog posts are available on one page. Heather Koerner
Heather Koerner is a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer from Owasso, Oklahoma. She and her husband, Kevin, love the adventure of raising their two kids, Madison and Andy. Before kiddos, Heather worked for Focus on the Family as the associate editor of Teachers in Focus magazine. Now she writes for Boundless about financial stewardship and motherhood, and she especially likes when she can write about how doing the first well makes the second a whole lot easier. She desperately misses Colorado and envies the other Boundless bloggers for their view of Pikes Peak. Ah, well, at least she can join them online. All of Heather's blog posts are available on one page. Tom Neven
Tom Neven writes from his new home in Tampa, FL. He previously served as editorial director of Focus on the Family's Youth Outreach department. After serving seven years as a Marine Corps infantryman, Tom attended Wheaton College, where he graduated with a degree in philosophy, and then the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He's written for The Washington Post, The Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Time-Life, Writer's Digest and many other publications. He's also the author of Do Fish Know They're Wet? (Baker Books, 2005), a Christian worldview book for young people, and On the Frontline: A Personal Guidebook for the Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Challenges of Military Life (WaterBrook Press, 2006), which is written for members of the military and their families. Tom has been married for 29 years to Colette, whom he met and married while living in Switzerland. (Their wedding ceremony was in French!) His daughter, Hannah, is a student at Biola University, and his son, Joshua, lives at home. His favorite thing to do in the whole world (aside from writing for Boundless) is to scuba dive. All of Tom's blog posts are available on one page. Ted Slater
Ted Slater has been editor of Boundless since 2005, and has been involved in publishing since the '80s and Web site development since the early '90s. Perhaps driven by his insecurities, he's stayed in school longer than normal people, earning bachelor's degrees in English and Spanish and master's degrees in International Communication and Education/ESL. He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Ashleigh, and three daughters. All of Ted's blog posts are available on one page. Candice Watters

He's been a contributor to Boundless since 2006 and joined the blogging team in mid-2009. He currently resides in Atlanta where he's working as a Senior Writer for an international ministry. He lives with his neurotic but fun German Shepherd, and in his spare time he enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and following Braves baseball and Georgia Football. Evidently he has a lot of spare time. All of Nathans's blog posts are available on one page.
