I'm Here: Adelaide, Australia

Aussie2

G'day mates,

I was driving home the other day from way out in the country and I survived the gazillions of kilometres of endless road by listening to past podcasts of Boundless (hence my jumping with joy!). It was a freezing day, about 10 degrees Celsius.

I've nearly finished studying engineering at Adelaide Uni and enjoying being where God has placed me among many people, especially loads of Chinese & other Asian students who come over to study having never heard the truth of the Gospel.

The second photo is were I normally read Boundless, in far less beautiful surroundings, engulfed by my 'organized' mess.

Thanks Boundless for providing lots of 'food for thought' to ponder on thru the articles and podcasts.

Jeremy

Took me a minute to put my finger on what was different aobut your road photo, but you are on the lefthand shoulder of the road! Ah yes, Aussies drive on the "other side".

2

Hi Jeremy!

I'm in Adelaide too. Good to know there are other Boundless followers out there. I know what you mean about the gazillion kms of road, I'm from the country too and I love to listen to the podcasts on my 6 hour drive home.
Maybe I'll bump into you one day
God bless,
Cait

I have the same computer, extra inches, keypad and everything. I'm typing on it just now. :)

Adelaide looks beautiful. I can't wait for the day to see it in person.

4

Hi Jeremy and Cait!

I live in Brisbane, but I spent a significant chunk of my childhood living in SA, 6 hours from Adelaide! Ah, nostalgia.

5

I'm pretty sure 10 degrees Celsius is ten degrees above "freezing", that said, I'm in NZ where anything in double figures would be warm right now.

6

Yay Jeremy! I was born just outside of Adelaide in Whyalla. Now I'm living in Perth and just drove a bajillion kilometres to visit my parents in Carnarvon.

Yay for Australians! :)

7

LOL.... I'm visiting Adelaide... so this post caght my attention. :) yep - it's even colder in the hills. :D

8

G'day to Adelaide ppl from a Brissie girl and a fellow Boundless reader! :-)

9

Your photo looks like you're posing for a jetstar ad!!! Very cool. I, like Blue Sarah am from NZ and envy your 10 degrees! Bring on summer...

10

hey there...
i know this is a late post, but this is also from another Australian - in Brisbane... I don't know if this is the forum for it, but I tend to see other fellow-Australian-Boundless afficionados as kindred spirit AND i was wondering if anyone was up for the Next Conference 2010...? i went this year (i think Boundless podcasted some of it, at least they did last year!) and was deeply challenged, blessed, confronted and came away with a spirit-led understanding of the supremacy of Christ, his personhood, his deity and his works...
