Blogging to Honor God

We began The Line a bit over a year ago for a variety of reasons:
- to provoke discussion among young adults
- to better understand our readers
- to explore issues in a more timely manner than we're able to on Boundless
- to minister with the truth of the gospel
We can do better, I quickly admit. We'd do well to review the Boundless articles "Blogging to Worship God" and "Blog Responsibly" and "Blogging: The History and the Spirit" from time to time. Those articles serve to remind us of our purpose in blogging, and our motivations for blogging.
Something we are doing is engaging with other bloggers at the Godblog conference, which this year is part of the larger Blog World and New Media Expo in Las Vegas. The conference begins tomorrow.
We're eager to fellowship with other Christians intent on exploiting new media for God's glory. We're looking forward to attending workshops that explore new approaches and techniques on how to more effectively communicate good news.
Who has recognized the importance of new media, and has determined to attend? Hugh Hewitt. Michael Medved. Al Mohler. Joe Carter. Mark D. Roberts. LaShawn Barber. John Mark Reynolds. New media aficionados from Mars Hill Church, Zeit Studios, The Scriptorium Daily: Middlebrow, Stand to Reason, Crosswalk, BreakPoint, Touchstone, Acton Institute, Biola University, CitizenLink, Family Research Council, Torrey Honors Institute, Fast Company, Yahoo!, Technorati, Townhall.com and a bunch more.
Consider praying for us (Motte, Steve, Jeff Caylor, and me) while we're there, that we'd be able to make the most of this opportunity. And if there's anyone you'd like us to try to meet with while we're there, or anything you'd like us to try to research while there, please let us know! We'll be liveblogging the event, so we'll do our best to address your requests as soon as possible.

Have a great time. I really wish I could go.

How can I get a job in "new" media sharing the gospel and conservative view points?
All that I ask for is 30K a year, with an inflation adjusted raise each year.
I wanna be grassroots, local and make a difference where it counts most, in my town, and state.
I wanna do what Dobson, Colson and Molher all do, but at a more local level.
